Polygon CEO Sandeep Nailwal is celebrating a major milestone this week after the UFC signed a multi-year partnership with Polymarket. The deal makes Polymarket the official and exclusive prediction market partner for both UFC and Zuffa Boxing. For Nailwal, the moment is personal. He shared that he’s a long-time UFC fan and highlighted that Polymarket runs entirely on the Polygon network. Something he and Polygon Ventures supported early on during tougher market years.
This is a special moment for me too. Being a big fan of UFC myself, its a special feeling that @Polymarket is fully powered by @0xPolygon and is now official and exclusive partner of @ufc

Polymarket Becomes UFC’s Exclusive Prediction Partner
TKO Group Holdings, the parent company of UFC, confirmed the partnership in a new announcement. The deal marks the first time a major global sports organization will integrate prediction market technology directly into its fan experience. Instead of traditional betting lines, fans will now see real-time sentiment percentages that show who the crowd believes will win.
This new “Fan Prediction Scoreboard” will appear during UFC broadcasts. It will update dynamically throughout each fight and reflect shifting expectations with every strike, takedown or momentum swing. TKO says the feature is designed to enhance storytelling, not replace regulated betting. Polymarket will activate across UFC events, live broadcasts, social media and digital content. The integration aims to pull hundreds of millions of fans into a more interactive experience each fight night.
Shayne Coplan Calls the Deal a Dream Come True
Polymarket CEO Shayne Coplan called the partnership a milestone for his team. He announced the news after ringing the opening bell at the New York Stock Exchange. Alongside UFC President Dana White and TKO executives. Coplan said he always checked Polymarket’s odds while watching UFC to get a feel for who might be winning. Now, millions of viewers will get that same experience live on screen. He believes this integration will introduce prediction markets to a massive new audience.
The companies are also launching a new social content series called Matchup Predictions – Who’s Next? The series will highlight potential future matchups after each event and drive fan debate across UFC’s official channels. Polymarket will host accompanying markets for these discussions, giving fans another way to participate.
A Big Moment for the Polygon Ecosystem
While the partnership focuses on fan engagement. The crypto community quickly noted that Polymarket is built on Polygon. Sandeep Nailwal said the moment feels special, not only because he is a UFC fan. But because he supported Polymarket through its early struggles. His post emphasized that the project survived “against all odds.” He also sees this deal as validation of its long-term vision. The partnership will also extend to Zuffa Boxing, launching in early 2026. Polymarket will power prediction features during those events as well. Along with in-arena activations and specialized digital content.
Live Sports Meet Web3-Powered Participation
Starting in 2026, all UFC and Zuffa Boxing events in the U.S. will stream exclusively on Paramount+. With this shift, Polymarket’s prediction scoreboard will reach an even broader audience. TKO says the goal is to move sports fans from passive viewers to active participants. With Web3 powered prediction markets may be the tool that brings that shift to life. The UFC partnership marks a new era of mainstream visibility for Polygon and Polymarket. For fans, it’s a brand-new way to experience every fight in real time.
