A document resurfaced after two years shows a suggestion that the crypto wealth of the mysterious Bitcoin creator, Satoshi Nakamoto, may consist not solely of Bitcoin.
- Schwartz’s Statement. Ripple CTO and XRPL co-creator David Schwartz told the court, “Toshi, the original creator, probably held an enormous amount of XRP at that time,” referring to 2017.
XRPL co-creator and currently Ripple CTO David Schwartz stated that he believes the Bitcoin creator Satoshi Nakamoto may have held a large amount of XRP. His statement came as a response to a court’s question about similarities between Bitcoin and XRP and if anything similar to Ripple’s payment system exists on the Bitcoin blockchain.
