Ripple’s newly announced alliance with the International Rescue Committee (IRC) has sparked significant interest among members of the XRP community.
Blockchain analyst Lory has weighed in, calling this collaboration a major development with long-term potential. She also offered what she describes as her “most important” advice for XRP holders in light of this new partnership.
Details of Ripple’s Latest Partnership
On October 16, Ripple disclosed its latest alliance with the IRC. The partnership aims to leverage Ripple’s cross-border payments solutions and the upcoming RLUSD stablecoin to improve the delivery of humanitarian aid.
Ripple has committed a $1 million, multi-year grant to explore how blockchain technology, including the XRP Ledger (XRPL), can streamline cash relief programs and cross-border transfers, particularly in crisis-affected regions where traditional banking services are limited.
The IRC operates in over 40 countries and has a strong track record of delivering aid. Specifically, it has provided over $70 million in vouchers and cash relief.
Additionally, the partnership comes in response to the UN’s estimate that 360 million people require assistance due to global crises. Ripple and the IRC aim to study how blockchain solutions can transform aid delivery, making it faster, more secure, and more accessible.
What’s in It for XRP Holders?
According to Lory, this new partnership underscores the growing role of Ripple’s technology in addressing real-world challenges. Notably, Ripple’s global payments network, powered by the XRP Ledger, could offer a faster and more secure way to deliver aid in difficult environments.
“This partnership shows the potential for Ripple’s blockchain solutions to be adopted on a massive scale,” Lory said.
However, Lory also advised investors to remain mindful of possible hidden agendas within some humanitarian organizations.
Her core message to XRP investors is to trust the technology and the intuition that led them to invest in XRP and Ripple’s solutions. Accordingly, she urged investors to stay aware of the various ways this technology can be utilized.
“Your XRP is solid; its value is beyond imagination,” Lory said, emphasizing the significance of critical thinking.
