The rollout extends Custom Pairs, which Pump.fun launched Sept. 9. That feature broadened launch pairings beyond SOL and $USDC to assets including tokenized public stocks, bitcoin and ether. Under Custom Pairs, creator fees are paid in the quote token, Pump.fun’s FAQ says.
What Backs the Exposure
PreStocks markets its tokens as “fully backed.” Its terms of service say tokens are intended to be collateralized by corresponding economic exposure. That can include interests in special-purpose vehicles, funds or custodial arrangements, as well as derivatives, synthetic arrangements, cash, stablecoins or other tokens.
The terms allow the collateral mix to change without notice and do not give holders a legal claim on the backing assets. The tokens are not issued or endorsed by the companies they reference.
Prices can differ materially from prices in other markets or the valuation of the collateral, the terms say. Private-company reference valuations may come from funding rounds, secondary trades, broker indications or estimates.
Holders may request redemption into $USDC or another agreed form of value, but redemption is not guaranteed. The terms allow value to be realized through onchain liquidity or conversions instead. Accepted redemptions remain subject to eligibility and verification requirements, minimum sizes, fees and the ability to realize liquid proceeds; fulfillment can be partial, delayed or unsuccessful.
PreStocks says its tokens are unavailable to U.S. persons. Its terms prohibit users who are citizens or residents of, incorporated in, or physically located in jurisdictions including the United States, mainland China and Singapore, as well as sanctioned parties. Users must be at least 18. The terms cover acquiring and holding the tokens regardless of where they were acquired.
