The Pudgy Penguins collection soared to the top of the non-fungible tokens (NFTs) market on Monday with over US$1.14 million in daily sales, according to CryptoSlam data.
This surge in sales was driven by 50 unique buyers and 54 sellers, resulting in 62 total transactions for the day. The average price for a Pudgy Penguin NFT stood at approximately US$18,529.
The collection’s all-time sales volume now stands at nearly US$396.88 million. It’s the world’s 18th-largest collection, about US$3 million away from Cool Cats and the 17th spot.
The second-ranking collection for the day was Milady Maker, with a daily sales total of US$766,284. This Ethereum collection saw 62 unique buyers and 75 sellers with an average NFT price of US$9,579.
Mad Lads took the third spot with daily sales of US$669,964.
Mad Lads is Solana’s number two collection on the all-time list behind Solana Monkey Business.
The average price for a Mad Lads NFT was US$5,982, and its all-time sales volume is now US$203.11 million.
Ethereum NFT veterans CryptoPunks and Bored Ape Yacht Club came in at fourth and fifth with sales of US$629,294 and US$508,946, respectively.
Ethereum, the blockchain hosting Pudgy Penguins, witnessed a daily sales volume of US$6.53 million to lead all blockchains, an increase from the previous day’s US$4.23 million, marking a 49.5% rise in sales activity.
