Skale Labs and Sequence are teaming up to help support a series of upcoming blockchain games, with the first game benefiting from the collaboration—mobile shoot ‘em up game Zoppel: The Legend of Furiax—set to launch its alpha test on the Skale network next week.
Zoppel, a vertical spaceship shooter, will debut in alpha on Android and iOS on December 15, kickstarting the collaboration. The game is based on an original science fiction IP, and is flanked by a graphic novel that is set to begin shipping in January.
Skale Labs is the development team behind Skale, an Ethereum layer-2 scaling network that is seeing growing gaming adoption. Sequence is a blockchain gaming development platform created by Horizon, the studio behind NFT card battler game Skyweaver.
