Along with its announcement on X, Ledger also published a blog post on its official web portal to provide details. It mentioned that its integration with THORChain enables swaps on $WBTC, $DAI, $USDC, $USDT, $ETH, and $BTC. THORChain also permits consumers to enjoy low slippage while trading across chains without MEV or frontrunning. This could reportedly facilitate consumers executing big transfers, especially with $BTC.
As a part of this collaboration, support for additional ERC-20 coins will also be provided in the future. This takes place through Ledger Live Desktop, without requiring leaving the application, creating an exclusive account, or undergoing KYC.
