Japan-based platform service provider Robot Consulting announced plans to invest 1 billion yen in Ethereum (ETH) as part of its expansion strategy into the legal tech and metaverse space.

This investment, which will be financed from the company’s existing cash resources, will also be supported by the proceeds of the IPO completed on July 18, 2025.
The company aims to begin the investment process in the last quarter of 2025 or the spring of 2026. While the investment amount may change depending on market conditions, the value of Ethereum assets will be updated quarterly, and any gains or losses will be reflected in the financial statements.
Robot Consulting aims to develop innovative solutions in accessible legal services by integrating Ethereum’s smart contract infrastructure and blockchain ecosystem into legal technology initiatives.
CEO Amit Thakur emphasized that this investment aligns the company’s blockchain strategy with its legal technology vision, stating that Ethereum will increase long-term corporate value both as a technology platform and investment vehicle.
Robot Consulting currently stands out with its cloud-based human resources management system, Labor Robot, and its in-development Robot Lawyer projects. The company aims to strengthen its presence in AI-powered legal consulting, metaverse-based legal services, and digital transformation solutions.
This move is considered a significant milestone in Robot Consulting’s strategic growth focused on legal technology.
