NFT giveaways provide a unique avenue for individuals to obtain sought-after NFTs, often from renowned artists, creators, and projects, without having to make a significant financial investment.

While NFT giveaways can be a great way to get your feet wet in the NFT space (and perhaps even make a little bit of money), they can be difficult to find, especially if you lack the necessary experience and know-how.

In this article, we are going to explore the best NFT projects in 2026 and outline how you can find free NFT giveaways.

Here’s a quick overview of the best NFT giveaways in 2026:

  1. Dapper Labs – Free NFTs for sports fans
  2. Gods Unchained – A popular blockchain card based on unique NFT cards
  3. Enjin – A leading NFT project that rewards its wallet users with a free NFT
  4. Binance NFT – A popular NFT marketplace with periodic NFT giveaways
  5. Axie Infinity – A P2E game with free NFTs for regular players

5 best NFT giveaways: Discover the top NFT giveaways in 2026

In the following sections, we are going to explore several projects that are offering free NFTs and allow you to participate in digital art and utility-focused NFTs giveaways.

1. Dapper Labs – Free NFTs for sports fans

Founded in 2018, Dapper Labs has played a pioneering role in bringing NFTs into the mainstream and revolutionizing the way we interact with digital assets. The company gained widespread recognition with the launch of CryptoKitties in late 2017 and expanded its offering with the launch of the NFT-focused blockchain Flow in 2019 and the basketball-focused NBA Top Shot marketplace in 2020.

One of Dapper Labs’ biggest moves was the rollout of the NBA Top Shot mobile app on iOS and Android devices. In addition to making waves in the basketball (NBA Top Shot), UFC (UFC Strike), and NFL (NFL ALL DAY) scene, Dapper Labs has announced they will be expanding their portfolio of NFT products and services to soccer as well.

Dapper Labs regularly organizes NFT giveaways that give players the ability to earn free NFT cards. For instance, they were giving away free LaLiga Golazos NFTs to soccer fans that had registered their account with Dapper. These packs included soccer stars like Thierry Henry, Ronaldo Nazario, Sergio Agüero, and Robert Lewandowski. In addition, users can claim free packs after completing challenges (like collecting three dunk moments NFTs, for example).

2. Gods Unchained – A popular blockchain card based on unique NFT cards

Gods Unchained is a digital collectible card game built on the Ethereum blockchain. Players battle with unique cards representing characters, spells, and artifacts, which is similar to classic card games like Magic: The Gathering or its newer counterpart, Hearthstone. Gods Unchained’s in-game economy is powered by the GODS token, which allows holders to participate in governance and purchase NFTs.

Each card in Gods Unchained is an NFT, ensuring ownership and tradeability. The game features a Play-to-Earn (P2E) model, allowing players to earn rewards and cryptocurrency. Gods Unchained combines engaging gameplay, stunning artwork, and decentralized ownership of in-game assets.

While paying for more expensive and better cards will allow you to progress through the ranks more quickly, free players can earn GODS and buy NFTs without spending any of their hard-earned money. In addition, these cards can be traded on the Gods Unchained marketplaces, whereas GODS can be sold directly on KuCoin, OKX, and several other exchanges.

3. Enjin – A leading NFT project that rewards its wallet users with a free NFT

Enjin is a leading NFT project that focuses on blockchain technology for gaming and virtual goods. Their native cryptocurrency, Enjin Coin (ENJ), powers their platform and enables the creation, trading, and management of digital collectibles using blockchain. In 2022, Enjin launched Efinity (EFI), a highly-scalable NFT-focused parachain on Polkadot.

Enjin provides tools for game developers to integrate blockchain features into their games, and they have a marketplace for buying and selling blockchain-based in-game items. Notably, Enjin collaborated with Microsoft on the launch of Minecraft-compatible NFTs in 2021. The following year, Enjin partnered with another blue-chip company, Ubisoft, for the launch of Final Fantasy NFTs for the game’s 25th anniversary.

Enjin Wallet is one of the best NFT wallets in the market, featuring support for multiple blockchains, strong security features, and support for the ERC-1155 and ERC-721 standards. As a welcome offering, Enjin is giving away a free NFT to all new users – all you have to do is scan the QR code on the Enjin homepage with the wallet and the NFT will be deposited almost instantly to your account via the Enjin Beam, a technology designed to boost the distribution of NFTs.

4. Binance NFT – A popular NFT marketplace with periodic NFT giveaways

Binance NFT is a digital collectibles marketplace by Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange. You’ll periodically find exclusive NFT giveaways on Binance NFT, ranging from gaming-focused initiatives to sports drops, and more.

Binance NFT is also a great platform for minting your own NFTs or creating a collection of digital collectibles. The platform supports both Ethereum and BNB Chain, two blockchains that feature smart contact functionality to facilitate NFT use cases. What’s more, Binance has recently announced support for the so-called Bitcoin NFTs. Unveiled earlier this year, the Bitcoin Ordinals (ORDI) project allows users to inscribe audio and images on the Bitcoin blockchain. The project has skyrocketed in popularity in recent weeks, causing Bitcoin fees to spike to their multi-year high above $30 (about five times above the average BTC network fee).

In addition to Binance NFT, the exchange has other initiatives that are focused on NFTs and their unique properties. For instance, when you create a new Binance account and complete the KYC process, Binance gifts you a mystery box that includes a free NFT. Also, after verifying your Binance account, you can request a Binance Account Bound (BAB) token, an NFT token that can be used as proof of identity across supported BNB Chain projects.

5. Axie Infinity – A P2E game with free NFTs for regular players

In Axie Infinity, players can own and battle with virtual creatures known as “Axies.” These Axies are non-fungible tokens (NFTs) that can be bought, sold, and bred on the Ethereum blockchain. Each Axie has distinct traits and abilities, making them unique and valuable in the game.

With Axies, players have a chance to win real money rewards, a monetization model that has become known as Play-to-Earn (P2E) in recent years. While most NFTs are purchased with Axie Infinity (AXS) tokens, players can also win them for free by completing in-game tasks and other challenges.

In addition, Axie Infinity launched a “Lite” version of Axie Infinity (named “Origins”), which will feature “Starter Axies” that are not NFTs. With time, the Axie Infinity team plans to transition to the NFT model and allow users to buy and rent Axies as in the full game. Existing Axie Infinity players will be able to transfer their NFT-based Axies to the game from the get-go.

How to find NFT giveaways?

There are several different ways to find NFT giveaways. In the following sections, we are going to outline some of the most popular methods to find NFT giveaways.

Social media platforms

Follow NFT projects, artists, influencers, and brands on platforms like Twitter, Instagram, and Discord. They often announce giveaways and promotions on their social media accounts. Also, most giveaways require users to share their content or follow their social media accounts, so using social media is virtually a given if you want to participate in NFT giveaways.

Hashtags

Search for relevant hashtags such as #NFTgiveaways, #NFTgiveaway, #FreeNFTs, or specific project-related hashtags. This can help you discover ongoing or upcoming giveaways. In addition, the frequency of different hashtags can help you evaluate the current state of NFTs, and decide if NFTs are a good investment.

NFT communities and forums

Join NFT communities, forums, and discussion platforms like Discord channels, Telegram groups, and Reddit. These platforms often have dedicated sections or threads where users share information about NFT giveaways.

NFT aggregator websites

Explore NFT aggregator websites or platforms that curate and list various NFT giveaways. These websites gather information about ongoing and upcoming giveaways, making it easier for you to find them in one place.

Newsletters and email subscriptions

Subscribe to newsletters and email lists of NFT projects, marketplaces, and influencers. They sometimes send out notifications about exclusive giveaways or promotions.

NFT calendar websites

Check NFT calendar websites that feature upcoming drops and events. Sometimes, they include information about NFT giveaways and free mints as well.

Engage with the community

Participate in NFT-related discussions, engage with artists and projects, and join communities. By actively participating, you may come across opportunities or be notified of exclusive giveaways.

The bottom line: There are plenty of ways to participate in NFT giveaways

There are numerous opportunities to get involved with free NFT giveaways. However, it is worth noting that many of free NFTs don’t hold any monetary value or at least very little. Still, if you are interested in the topic, check our step-by-step guide on how to get free NFT drops for more ideas.

If you want to get involved with NFTs, but don’t know where to start, check our beginner’s guide to NFT investing. While the NFT trading volume is down from the peak in 2021, NFTs are from being dead and could see a major resurgence when/if the broader crypto market rallies.
