Famous Bitcoin bull MicroStrategy founder Michael Saylor made important statements about Bitcoin (BTC).
Speaking during his keynote speech at the ICR Conference in Orlando, Saylor called on companies to buy Bitcoin and described the bonds as ‘toxic.’
Michael Saylor, the largest institutional Bitcoin holder, described the bonds as “toxic” and said that Bitcoin is a suitable investment vehicle for companies and that they should buy Bitcoin.
Comparing the performance of Bitcoin and bonds since 2020, Saylor said that since MicroStrategy adopted the Bitcoin buying strategy, the value of Bitcoin has increased while the value of bonds has decreased.
Saylor, who recommended that companies buy BTC in the face of this difference, outlined the options for companies: continue with traditional practices such as purchasing U.S. Treasury bonds and conducting buybacks and dividends, or innovate by adding Bitcoin to their investment portfolios.
Saylor’s statements come after MicroStrategy bought Bitcoin for 10 consecutive weeks, while Saylor also criticized companies like Microsoft and Nvidia for not following MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin strategy.
