Aster decentralized exchange is in the middle of Genesis Season 2, and traders are now competing for their share of the 4% ASTER token supply allocated to this stage. The season runs until October 5, 2025, with a new round (Stage 3) set to follow immediately after, introducing updated rules and expanded spot trading support.
In its latest post on X, the trading platform noted that generating volume on the perpetual trading platform is not the only way to earn more ‘Rh points’ during the Aster Genesis Season 2.

Trading Volume Scoring
Aster’s Genesis Season 2 scoring involves a Trading Volume Scoring, which allocates more points to traders with higher trading volumes on Aster Pro. Takers in this category earn twice the volume of Rh points as makers.
Meanwhile, holding positions for long allows traders to earn Rh points during the airdrop exercise. According to Aster, the longer traders hold positions, the more Rh points they earn.
More earning avenues, including referrals
Traders on the Aster DEX can also earn Rh points during the Genesis Season 2 airdrop exercise by utilizing Aster assets, such as asBNB and USDF, using them as margin to trade on Aster Pro.
However, the system caps the Rh points at 2x the traders’ weekly trading volumes. Meanwhile, participating traders in the exercise can capitalize on their daily realized profits and losses, excluding fees, to boost their Rh points earnings.

Exploring Aster’s marketing tools also provides traders participating in the Genesis Season 2 process with additional opportunities to earn Rh Points. Participants can refer other traders and earn either 10% or 5% rewards, depending on the referral level. The DEX plans to begin stage 3 immediately after stage 2 ends, introducing new scoring rules and expanded support for spot trading.
