To a user complaining that Tether’s Paolo Ardoino should “unfreeze my wallet,” CZ replied, “I don’t know any details of your case with USDT of course… I’d imagine your funds was somehow related to a police case, or it was flagged (hopefully incorrectly) by some AML tool. Give it some time, it should be resolved properly.” The subtext is brutal: enforcement flags and compliance tools—not Twitter outrage—decide when funds move.
