The IOTA network, a leader in open-source distributed ledger technology, launched a new website. The website features a modern design with a sharper focus on IOTA technology. Announced by co-founder and chairman Dominik Schiener on X, the update aims to enhance user experience and accessibility while reinforcing IOTA’s commitment to innovation.

Schiener described the website as “built to make a difference,” marking a significant milestone in IOTA’s mission since it was founded in 2015 by David Sønstebø, Dominik Schiener, Sergey Ivancheglo, and Serguei Popov.
Key Features of the IOTA Website
The platform highlights IOTA’s blockchain solutions, emphasizing security, scalability, and usability while showcasing its real-world adoption. It also provides insight into key components of the IOTA ecosystem, including the IOTA Mainnet and IOTA EVM, a Layer 2 Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) that runs on top of IOTA, enhancing interoperability and efficiency.
Additionally, it features IOTA Identity, IOTA Tokenization, and IOTA Wallets, reflecting the network’s expanding capabilities. The new IOTA website introduces a modern design that aligns with the foundation’s cutting-edge technology and forward-thinking approach. IOTA Rebased
As IOTA debuts its new website, the network is also preparing for the launch of IOTA Rebased, a significant protocol upgrade designed to simplify tokenomics and enhance transaction efficiency. As indicated in our earlier publication Rebased Protocol’s mainnet launch will enable over 50,000 transactions per second (TPS), significantly improving the network’s scalability. With MoveVM and Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) integration, Rebased will facilitate parallel operations, leading to better system connectivity and operational effectiveness.
The mainnet migration of IOTA Rebased is expected in the first quarter of 2025. Recent developments indicate that single transactions will be able to call up to 1,024 Move functions, ensuring a highly efficient system before its official launch.
In addition to its technical advancements, we also reported that IOTA has entered a strategic partnership to support EU and UK-backed trade lanes, leveraging its technology to digitize transport-related activities between European Union countries and the United Kingdom.
Despite these significant developments, IOTA’s token price has faced a downturn. As of writing, IOTA is trading at $0.2304, marking a 13.09% decline in the last 24 hours and a 14.67% drop over the past week. However, trading volume has surged by 156%, reaching $59.52 million, indicating fluctuating market interest amid the upcoming protocol upgrade.
