BitPay customers in the U.K. and EU can now enjoy a higher limit of up to $75,000 when purchasing crypto assets, including Shiba Inu (SHIB).
According to a recent announcement, BitPay integrated Transak, a Web3 payments provider, as an on-ramp solution.
The integration will roll out higher limits, additional payment methods, and increased coin availability for BitPay customers in the United Kingdom and Europe, including Shiba Inu proponents.

Purchase Up to $75K SHIB Per Transaction
Following the partnership, Shiba Inu enthusiasts in both regions can purchase up to $75,000 worth of SHIB in a single transaction, a major improvement from the previous figure.
The move is a huge milestone for Shiba Inu community members in the U.K. and EU who wish to accumulate more tokens. BitPay’s limit for SHIB purchases in these regions is much higher than the ceiling placed for U.S. customers.
While BitPay customers in the EU and U.K. would enjoy a transaction limit of $75,000 when buying Shiba Inu, U.S. residents are limited to purchasing a maximum of $6,000 worth of SHIB per transaction.
Other Benefits of the Partnership
In addition to buying up to $75,000 worth of SHIB in the United Kingdom and Europe, BitPay customers in these regions can also purchase the token with a minimum of $5.
This would further increase the number of SHIB holders, as residents in these locations do not need to break the bank before making their first Shiba Inu purchase.
Furthermore, BitPay customers would also gain access to various payment methods on Transak, including GrabPay and GCash.
Besides Shiba Inu, the newly introduced features also apply to more than 175 cryptocurrencies supported on BitPay, including Bitcoin, Ethereum, Dogecoin, and Litecoin.
BitPay Expands Shiba Inu Support
Since BitPay added Shiba Inu to its list of supported assets in December 2021, the top crypto payment provider has been rolling out new features to enhance SHIB’s utility.
With BitPay’s solution, Shiba Inu holders can pay their utility bills and buy luxury goods using SHIB. Users can also buy SHIB via BitPay using different payment methods, like Moonpay.
The news comes at a time when the Shiba Inu community anticipates a significant uptrend for SHIB. Recall that Shiba Inu recently spiked by over 250% in one week.
At the time, Shiba Inu soared to around $0.00004500 before retracing. Data shows that Shiba Inu has rallied 252% in the monthly charts, 133.9% in two weeks, and 10% over the past week. SHIB is changing hands at $0.00003360, marking a 3% increase in 24 hours.
