Bitget exchange and Bitget Wallet have integrated with Ondo Finance to enable trading of more than 100 tokenized stocks and ETFs. The partnership provides global users with around-the-clock access to traditional financial assets through blockchain-based tokens.
Ondo’s Tokenized Stocks, ETFs Go Live on Bitget Exchange and Wallet
Through a new real-world asset (RWA) module, users can browse, analyze, and trade tokenized versions of major equities and funds. Bitget explained on Wednesday that each token is fully backed by real-world assets, offers exposure to price appreciation and dividends, and requires a minimum investment of just $1.
In the release shared with Bitcoin.com News, Nathan Allman, Founder and CEO of Ondo Finance, stated:
“Ondo Global Markets is a breakthrough in financial access. Global investors can now access the largest selection of tokenized U.S. stocks and ETFs onchain. We saw stablecoins export the U.S. dollar by bringing it onchain. Now, Ondo Global Markets is doing the same thing for U.S. securities.”
The tokens are currently available on Ethereum and will soon expand to Solana and BNB Chain. Unlike decentralized liquidity pools, they draw liquidity directly from traditional equity markets via Ondo’s regulated infrastructure.
Available assets include tokenized shares of companies like Apple, Tesla, and NVIDIA, as well as popular ETFs. All are denominated in USD and tradeable 24/7, though eligibility is subject to regional regulations.
Bitget Wallet also plans to scale its tokenized asset offerings to over 1,000 stocks and ETFs in the coming months and will launch campaigns with Ondo to accelerate adoption.
The shift comes as more crypto firms explore tokenized stocks, with Galaxy Digital unveiling GLXY tokenized shares on Solana on Wednesday, while Kraken has been steadily introducing tokenized equities across multiple blockchains through its xStocks product.
