Bitcoin (BTC) could surge to $160,000 by 2025, according to cryptocurrency financial services firm Matrixport.

As reported by CNBC, the firm suggests that the rally will be fueled by strong demand for Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs), positive macroeconomic trends, and expanding global liquidity pools.
Markus Thielen, Research Director at Matrixport and founder of 10x Research, explained the optimistic outlook:
“This forecast is supported by sustained demand for Bitcoin ETFs, supportive macroeconomic conditions, and a growing global liquidity pool,” Thielen said.
Thielen also noted that the increasing presence of institutional investors and a strong base of dip buyers will likely limit the scale of price corrections. “The pullbacks expected in 2025 will be less pronounced,” Thielen added, signaling confidence in Bitcoin’s resilience.
Matrixport has a history of being bullish on its Bitcoin predictions. The firm projected in 2023 that Bitcoin would reach $125,000 by 2024, reflecting its long-term confidence in the cryptocurrency’s growth trajectory.
As Bitcoin continues to gain institutional support and global recognition, Matrixport’s projection aligns with broader market expectations that Bitcoin will break new price records in the coming years.
