Binance, one of the world’s leading cryptocurrency exchanges, announced that it supports upcoming Optimism (OP) and Arbitrum (ARB) network upgrades and Hard Forks in order to provide the best user experience.
Binance Announces Support for Optimism (OP) and Arbitrum (ARB) Network Upgrades and Hard Forks
The Optimism (OP) network upgrade and Hard Fork is scheduled to occur at approximately 03:00 on March 14, 2024, at block height 1,710,374,401.
To facilitate a smooth transition, Binance will temporarily suspend token deposits and withdrawals on the Optimism (OP) network starting at 02:00 on March 13, 2024.
Similarly, the Arbitrum (ARB) network upgrade and Hard Fork is scheduled to occur on March 14, 2024 at 12:00 PM.
In preparation for this event, Binance will suspend token deposits and withdrawals on the Arbitrum (ARB) network starting approximately March 14, 2024, at 11:00 AM.
It is important to note that token trading on both the Optimism (OP) and Arbitrum (ARB) networks will not be affected during these upgrades and Hard Forks.
Binance assures its users that it will manage all technical requirements to ensure a smooth transition.
Upon completion of the upgrades, Binance will reopen deposits and withdrawals for tokens on the Optimism (OP) and Arbitrum (ARB) networks once the upgraded networks are deemed stable and operational.
These network upgrades represent a significant step forward for both the Optimism and Arbitrum ecosystems, and Binance’s support underscores its commitment to facilitating the adoption and growth of these technologies within the cryptocurrency community.
