Binance announced that, following recent evaluations, it has decided to expand the scope of its Monitoring Tag.
According to the exchange’s official announcement, four more crypto assets will be added to the Watch Tag list as of January 2, 2026. These assets are Acala Token (ACA), DAR Open Network (D), Streamr (DATA), and Flow (FLOW).
Binance emphasizes that tokens bearing the Watch Tag carry higher volatility and risk compared to other listed cryptocurrencies.
Projects included in this scope are monitored more closely by the platform and subjected to detailed reviews at regular intervals. The evaluations consider criteria such as liquidity status, transaction volume, project progress, team activities, and regulatory compliance.
Exchange officials reminded investors that tokens with the Watch Tag risk being delisted from Binance if they fail to meet the platform’s listing criteria in the future. Therefore, investors were advised to exercise caution when trading these assets.
Binance also states that users are required to accept periodic risk alerts in order to trade tokens with a Watch Tag. This practice aims to ensure that investors are aware of the risks associated with the assets in question.
Market analysts generally view Binance’s actions as part of a strategy to maintain overall market quality and enhance investor safety. Given the increasing regulatory pressures and market volatility expected in 2025 and 2026, major exchanges are anticipated to continue tightening their oversight of risky assets.
