Binance, one of the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchanges, announced that it will convert delisted tokens into USDC for users who hold these tokens in their Binance wallets.
Binance to Convert Delisted Tokens to USDC by April 2025
The conversion process will begin after a snapshot of users’ assets is taken at 03:00 on October 29, 2024, and will be completed by April 28, 2025.
Affected Tokens and Withdrawal Deadline
The tokens affected are:
- Vai (VAI)
- Tornado Cash (TORN)
- OMG Network (OMG)
- Waves (WAVES)
- HUMIDITY (XEM)
- BarnBridge (BOND)
- Dock (DOCK)
- MDEX (MDX)
- PolkaStarter (POLS)
- Pundi X PURSE (PURSE)
Binance users who own any of these tokens will have until 02:59 on October 28, 2024 to withdraw them. After this date, withdrawals will no longer be supported and users will not be able to transfer the affected tokens to external wallets.
Conversion to USDC will be based on the average exchange rate for each token during the “Conversion Period”, which runs from 03:00 on October 29, 2024 to 02:59 on April 28, 2025. Once the conversion is complete, users will receive the equivalent amount of USDC in their Binance wallets.
Important Notices
- Deposits of affected tokens are no longer supported.
- Withdrawals will be allowed until 02:59 on October 28, 2024, subject to network conditions.
- Users will not be able to view these tokens in their wallets until the conversion is complete after the snapshot on October 29, 2024.
