Binance has announced its support for the highly anticipated Wise Monkey (MONKY) airdrop, which aims to reward FLOKI and ApeCoin (APE) holders with MONKY tokens. This airdrop reflects Binance’s commitment to rewarding loyal communities while supporting new projects in the crypto space.
Airdrop Details For FLOKI & APE Holders
Wise Monkey has allocated a massive 2.7 trillion MONKY tokens for FLOKI holders and 800 billion MONKY tokens for APE holders. The airdrop will be distributed to eligible users across on-chain holdings and Binance-supported exchanges.
Details for FLOKI Holders
However, MONKY tokens will be airdropped to FLOKI holders starting December 15, 2024, at 00:00 (UTC). Although the distribution rate is set at 1 FLOKI = 0.35 MONKY.
Airdrop for FLOKI Holders
- Total Allocation: 2.7 trillion MONKY tokens.
- Start Date: December 15, 2024, at 00:00 (UTC).
- Rate: 1 FLOKI = 0.35 MONKY.
Of the total MONKY supply, 35% has been set aside for the Floki community. This includes 27% for FLOKI holders on-chain and supported exchanges, 4% for users of the Floki Trading Bot, and another 4% for holders of select tokens within the ecosystem.
Airdrop for APE Holders
- Total Allocation: 800 billion MONKY tokens.
- Start Date: November 29, 2024, at 00:00 (UTC).
- Rate: 1 APE = 804,828 MONKY.
For the APE community, 10% of the total MONKY supply is allocated. This includes 8% for APE holders on-chain and on exchanges, 1% for Ape Accelerator supporters, and 1% for ApeFest attendees.
Eligibility Criteria for the Airdrop
To qualify, FLOKI and APE balances must be above 1 token. Balances in trade orders or tokens pending deposits or withdrawals during the snapshot will not count. Snapshots will account for holdings across Spot Wallets, Funding Wallets, and other Binance-supported accounts.
Tokens borrowed or transferred from Margin or Loan accounts will also not qualify. Additionally, users with net liabilities in FLOKI or APE must return the equivalent MONKY received.
Distribution Timeline
The distribution timeline will be announced separately once the airdrop is completed. While Binance supports the airdrop, this does not guarantee that MONKY will be listed on the exchange. Any potential listing will go through Binance’s strict review process.
