As part of its latest announcement, Binance stated that it completed DAR token swap and rebrand of Dar open network. The exchange platform also made deposits and withdrawals for D tokens available for users. Being the leading crypto exchange platform, Binance’s support to Mines of Dalarnia (DAR) token swap plays a big role in D token’s adoption and investment.
Binance announced that it will support Mines of Dalarnia (DAR) token swap and network rebranding in December 2024. As per its earlier announcement, Binance delisted all existing spot trading pairs such as DAR/USDT, DAR/TRY, etc. Adding to that, it canceled all pending DAR spot trading orders on Jan 6, 2025.
Starting from Jan 9, 2025, 8:00 (UTC), users are able to access spot trading pairs with the new ticker “D.” The trading pairs D/USDT and D/TRY are available for users, along with deposits and withdrawals of these tokens.
Binance also allows investors to deposit DAR tokens and swap them to D tokens. However, they will be able to withdraw DAR tokens. Prior to Binance, Bitget has also announced that it swapped DAR tokens with D tokens, along with DAR open network rebranding. Another major exchange Crypto.com has also supported DAR token rebrand to D.
DAR to D: Dar Open Network Rebranding
DAR to D token conversion was announced in December, 2024, as part of its rebranding process. The D token is a utility token with multiple use cases on Dar Open Network. Staking, governance, and Dar ecosystem support are some of its noteworthy use cases. The project ensured that the process of token swapping was straightforward and seamless.
While self-custodian wallets can swap tokens using a migration portal, investors who use centralized exchanges can directly swap their tokens on the platform. Additionally, all the staked DAR tokens will automatically be converted to D tokens. The tokenomics are also changed in terms of the ratio between ERC-20 and BEP-20 networks. However, the total and circulating supply of DAR tokens remains unchanged.
