EVearn, an initiative of VeChain’s broader VeBetter platform, has announced key updates in its reward system. EVearn demonstrates VeChain’s transformative potential in the automotive ecosystem, allowing Tesla drivers to earn crypto rewards for sustainable charging.
New Updates on EVearn Rewards
In a series of X posts, EVearn revealed plans to upgrade how rewards are distributed to users. The platform explained that it needs to do away with its current reward distribution system, where users receive 1 B3TR token per 1 kWh charge. According to EVearn, a recent analysis revealed that it distributes tokens above its weekly allocation.

EVearn, therefore, thinks it is time to introduce a smarter system. The platform replaces the current reward distribution system with a dynamic rewards model. Per the new update, rewards will vary based on weekly B3TR allocation. The new model will also adjust automatically based on actual user activity.
EVearn will split weekly rewards into hourly time slots. Thus, the distribution will adjust each hour, and rewards will be allocated based on users’ activity. Rewards speed up when activity is low and increase during high activity.
With the dynamic model, EVearn aims to provide fairer, sustainable, and responsive rewards for the entire community. EVearn is a blockchain-based rewards program designed to incentivize eco-friendly driving behaviors. Users do not need to understand blockchain technology before utilizing the platform.
EVearn allows Tesla drivers to earn rewards for sustainable activities like charging at renewable energy stations. Others opt for off-peak charging times to reduce grid stress and share anonymized driving data for environmental research.
