The first Crypto Ball, to celebrate the inauguration of President-elect Donald J. Trump and Vice President-elect J.D. Vance, will be held on January 17 at the Andrew W. Mellon Auditorium in Washington, DC.

The special gala aims to highlight the fusion of American innovation and blockchain technology under the new administration.

The event, hosted by BTC Inc. and co-presented by Stand With Crypto, Exodus, Anchorage Digital, and Kraken, will feature leaders in the crypto and blockchain industries. The evening, which will run from 8:00 PM to midnight U.S. time, will feature cocktails, appetizers, and a celebration of the 60th Presidential Inauguration.

Tickets for the Crypto Ball are in high demand. The $2,500 gold tickets are selling out quickly, while at the time of writing, only $5,000 black tickets are available. A special VIP reception hosted by the new administration’s “Crypto Chief” David Sacks and hosted by Trump’s MAGA Inc. super PAC will provide a more exclusive setting for high-profile attendees. Tickets for that reception will cost $100,000 each, or $1 million for a package that includes four tickets and a single ticket to a future dinner with Donald Trump.

President-elect Trump’s pro-crypto stance has created optimism in the blockchain industry. Trump’s administration is shaping up to be crypto-friendly, with key appointments signaling support for the sector. David Sacks, a prominent venture capitalist, was named Chief AI and Cryptocurrency Officer, Scott Bessent was named Treasury Secretary, and Paul S. Atkins was named Chairman of the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). These appointments are expected to spur innovation and create a regulatory framework conducive to blockchain growth.

Crypto Ball is backed by some of the most influential names in the crypto space. Sponsors include Coinbase, Sui, MetaMask, Galaxy Digital, Solana, Mysten Labs, Ondo, MicroStrategy, Nexo, Uniswap Labs, Robinhood Crypto, and others.
