Ankr Powers Flare With Smooth Blockchain Access for Dev Teams

  • Ankr’s high-performance RPC services make it easier for developers to connect and build directly on the Flare Network.
  • Flare’s partnership with Ankr boosts Web3 infrastructure, enabling smoother dApp development without node management hassle.

As the blockchain network continues to grow and become denser, one thing is increasingly important: reliable connectivity. This is where Ankr’s role becomes even more crucial, especially after they officially partnered with Flare Network.

Not just a regular technical collaboration, this collaboration brings high-performance RPC (Remote Procedure Call) directly to the hands of developers in the Flare ecosystem—without having to worry about managing their own nodes.

Why are developers flocking to @FlareNetworks?

And why are those developers choosing Ankr’s infrastructure?

— Ankr (@ankr) June 3, 2025

Ankr Turns Complex Blockchain Building Into a Smooth Ride

Imagine you are a developer who wants to build a dApp but has to manage a full node, it must be complicated. Well, Ankr is here to simplify all that. Through their RPC service, developers can connect directly to the Flare network, build applications, and execute transactions with low latency.

This can be likened to direct toll access to the heart of the blockchain network. And apparently, it’s not just Flare that feels the impact.

On the other hand, CNF previously reported that Ankr had also handled a large spike in traffic from the Aztec node activity that had gone viral. Interestingly, there was no significant disruption. This is enough to prove that the Ankr system is indeed resilient, even when traffic comes in waves like people fighting over concert tickets.

Meanwhile, as of press time, ANKR is trading 2.44% down at $0.01675, with a market cap of $167.37 million.

Trusted by Arbitrum, Powering Creativity on Story, and Beyond

Judging from its digital footprint, Ankr is indeed aggressively building a reputation as the backbone of Web3 infrastructure. Early April, they were announced as an official RPC provider whitelisted by Arbitrum DAO.

What does that mean? The super popular Layer-2 Ethereum network now entrusts its connectivity to Ankr. For developers who want to build on Arbitrum, this is like getting a shortcut with guaranteed speed and stability.

Looking back, in February 2025, Ankr also supported the mainnet launch of Story, a new Layer-1 blockchain designed for on-chain copyright and creativity. Ankr’s RPC infrastructure allows creators on Story to build publishing platforms, content licensing, and even AI integration—all running smoothly, without any problems.

What is quite striking is how quickly the use of Story’s RPC has skyrocketed. This could be a reflection that many developers are indeed looking for a network that is more suitable for creative projects, and Story, assisted by Ankr, has succeeded in filling that gap.

However, Ankr did not stop there. They also announced the expansion of the DePIN (Decentralized Physical Infrastructure Network) network by involving partners such as IoTeX, Storj, and even Tencent Cloud.

This step opens up opportunities for new use cases, ranging from IoT solutions, AI-based services, to the integration of physical infrastructure that actually happens in the real world. So, this is not just a stand-alone digital infrastructure, but is starting to spread to many real-life sectors.

Back to Flare, the presence of RPC from Ankr also encourages increased activity in other sectors in their ecosystem. One example is the FAssets protocol – a technology that allows traditional assets such as XRP or DOGE, which initially did not have smart contract capabilities, to join the DeFi world.

With the support of stable infrastructure, the FAssets minting and redeeming process can run faster and safer, especially since they introduced the latest version with features such as Core Vault.
