This past week, Ankr’s infrastructure has suddenly become like a night market overrun by visitors. The cause? A community guide from the @defi_explora account circulating on X on how to run an Aztec node. One by one, users began copying the guide, many using Ankr’s RPC service. As a result, traffic to the Ankr network immediately spiked.

When Traffic Surged, Ankr Delivered
Ankr, fortunately, did not panic. They immediately took action. You could say it was a kind of impromptu stress test, and Ankr seemed quite prepared. They increased API capacity, optimized caching, and reset traffic limits.
Along the way, they also continued to monitor the infrastructure with their monitoring tools. Imagine if you had a coffee shop, then suddenly the entire coffee-loving community came together because of a viral video. Dizzy? Of course. But Ankr was quick to welcome the wave.
On the other hand, this is not the first time Ankr has shown agility. CNF previously reported that Ankr had added IOTA EVM integration to their Web3 API service. This feature makes transactions faster, scales up, and simplifies the development of DeFi and social applications. Imagine if you were a developer, and your tools could connect directly to the network without having to tinker too much. Yes, that’s possible now.
Innovation Rolling In from All Sides
However, it’s not just Aztec node traffic that’s the story this week. Back in early May, on the 5th, Ankr enabled Swagger UI for their Web3 API platform. This feature allows developers to explore endpoints directly through an interactive OpenAPI interface.
No more manual typing or opening documentation over and over again. One click, you can try it right away. It’s so easy. It’s like being given an interactive menu when you’re confused about what to eat—just click, and you’ll know the taste right away.
Furthermore, Ankr is also strengthening its foundation by establishing a major partnership. On April 26, 2025, they announced a collaboration with Microsoft. Through the Azure Marketplace, Ankr now provides node hosting services for enterprises.
The integration makes managing blockchain nodes more practical, with high performance and low latency. So, for companies who don’t want the hassle but want to get there quickly, this could be the “ninja way.”
And wait, it’s not just about partnerships and new features. Last April, Ankr also launched a $1 million grant program to support the Neura ecosystem, a Layer-1 blockchain that combines AI technology with Ankr’s RPCfi infrastructure. The grants are being disbursed in installments, and the goal is not just to provide funding, but also to encourage technical collaboration and marketing strategies.
Meanwhile, as of press time, ANKR is trading 1.77% up at $0.01912, with a market cap of $13.23 million.
