EPT, the native token of Balance, an AI-powered Web3 gaming and social platform, is set to debut on Binance’s Alpha and Futures platforms next week.
Binance’s announcement comes ahead of the project’s long-awaited Token Generation Event, which is expected to take place shortly before the listings go live.
While the exact timing hasn’t been confirmed, the Balance team hinted in an X post on April 14 that the TGE is “just around the corner.”
As per Binance’s official announcement on April 18, EPT will go live on Binance Alpha on April 21 at 12:00 PM UTC.
Binance Alpha is an early-access feature within the Binance Wallet that highlights promising Web3 projects before they hit the main exchange. It acts as a curated discovery zone for new tokens, offering users a first look at emerging crypto assets.

Selections are based on Binance’s internal research and market expertise, focusing on projects that show strong momentum, active communities, and relevance to current industry trends. However, being featured on Alpha does not guarantee a future spot listing on Binance.
Alongside the Binance Alpha listing, the exchange will list the EPT/USDT pair on its Futures platform, allowing investors to trade with up to 20x leverage.
Further, Binance will airdrop 3,500 EPT to celebrate the launch on its platforms to eligible users who purchased tokens using Spot or Funding wallets on Alpha between April 11 and 17. The tokens will be distributed to their Binance Alpha accounts by April 21, 12:10 PM UTC.
What is Balance?
Launched in May 2024, Balance is a Web3 gaming and social platform created by the team behind E-PAL, a Web2 gaming companion platform boasting over 4.2 million users and 450,000 active companions called EPALs.
The platform aims to bridge Web2 and Web3 by integrating AI-driven social features with a growing catalogue of over 180 supported games and partnerships across 80+ Web3 gaming projects. It offers a layered ecosystem that includes AI companions, NFT infrastructure, and tools tailored for both creators and players.
EPT serves as the governance token within the Balance ecosystem, incentivising activities such as transactions, liquidity provision, and application creation.
In September 2024, Balance raised $30 million from investors such as a16z, Animoca Brands, Galaxy Interactive, Amber Group, and DWF Labs to develop its Web3 infrastructure.
