Binance, the world’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, announced a new partnership today.
Accordingly, Binance announced that they have established a strategic partnership with global payment technology giant Worldpay.
As part of this partnership, users can purchase cryptocurrencies via Apple Pay and Google Pay starting today.
Users can purchase crypto with fiat currency directly through the Binance app or website by linking their credit or debit cards to Apple Pay or Google Pay.
“Binance has partnered with global payments technology provider Worldpay to bring two of the world’s leading digital wallets – Apple Pay and Google Pay – into its fiat onramp ecosystem.
Our users can now seamlessly purchase crypto on desktop or the Binance app using credit or debit cards already linked to these wallets.”
Binance chief executive Thomas Gregory stated that Worldpay’s position as a global leader in digital payments takes the collaboration a step further.
Finally, Gregory added that the goal of the partnership is to empower users by providing broader choice and more seamless access to crypto through familiar, mobile-first platforms.
