The long-awaited ShibaSwap 2.0, the upgraded version of Shiba Inu’s decentralized exchange (DEX), has finally gone live.

This update comes days after ShibaSwap’s X handler revealed that the ShibaSwap 2.0 launch will happen sooner than expected. Interestingly, it has finally launched on the mainnet.
Per the latest announcement, the upgrade gives users control, smarter tools, and better rewards to enhance their overall trading experience on ShibaSwap.
ShibaSwap 2.0 Features
Notably, ShibaSwap 2.0 introduced five unique features to enhance users’ experience.
Topping the list is Concentrated Liquidity Pools. This allows users to provide liquidity within specific price ranges, offering more efficiency, flexibility, and potentially higher returns.
Seamless Migration is the second feature that accompanied the ShibaSwap 2.0 upgrade. With this feature, existing liquidity providers can migrate effortlessly from old pools to new ones in one step.
ShibaSwap 2.0 offers a Better Reward Structure in which users can claim incentives based on their liquidity contributions without having to withdraw funds.
Another feature integrated into ShibaSwap is Smart Swap. It allows users to gain access to the best available swap prices by switching between V1 and V2 pools.
Lastly, ShibaSwap 2.0 comes with the Pair-Level Analytics feature. This offers detailed insights into the DEX’s metrics, such as total value locked (TVL), fees earned, and daily volume. With users gaining access to these important metrics, they can effectively make informed decisions backed by on-chain data.
Following the launch of ShibaSwap 1.0 on Ethereum in July 2021, the Shiba Inu ecosystem team has been working to roll out V2.0. While working on V2.0, the team introduced new features, including migrating the DEX to Shibarium, making ShibaSwap a multi-chain decentralized exchange.
