Cryptocurrency analytics company Santiment has announced the top 10 DeFi (decentralized finance) altcoins that cryptocurrency developers are focusing on most, based on GitHub developer activity over the past 30 days.

The data is based on significant GitHub activity measured via Santiment.

According to Santiment, the ranking reflects the intensity of code development for the projects and the technical progress within the ecosystem.

Here are the DeFi altcoins that developers have focused on most in the last 30 days, along with developer activity:

Chainlink (LINK) – 200

DeFiChain (DFI) – 119.7

DeepBook Protocol (DEEP) – 99.83

Uniswap (UNI) – 47.2

FOX Token (FOX) – 43.6

Lido DAO (LDO) – 35.53

Aave (AAVE) – 30.17

Curve (CRV – Ethereum) – 28.53

Curve (CRV – Arbitrum) – 28.53

Babylon (BABY) – 24.57

In particular, Chainlink maintained its top position by a wide margin, while established DeFi protocols like Uniswap, Curve, and Aave rose in the rankings in terms of developer interest.

However, most of these altcoins are in the red due to the general downtrend today. DFI, in particular, continued its downward trend with a daily drop of almost 27%.
