Upbit, South Korea’s largest cryptocurrency exchange, observed unusual trading volumes in several altcoins.
Altcoins showing significant changes include Avalanche (AVAX), Astar (ASTR), Polkadot (DOT), 1inch (1INCH), and Kyber Network Crystal (KNC).
On the 4-hour chart, Avalanche (AVAX) showed a 71.91% increase in trading volume on Upbit, with the 50 4-hour average volume rising from $48,000 to $82,000. On Binance, trading volume increased by 42.44%, from an average of $328,000 to $467,000.
Astar (ASTR) showed a significant increase on the 1-hour chart on Upbit, with the 1-hour average of 50 1-hour volumes rising 170.67% from $2 million to nearly $5 million. In Binance, the transaction volume increased by 43.52%, from an average of 4 million dollars to 5 million dollars.
On the 4-hour chart, Polkadot (DOT) experienced a 259.13% increase in trading volume on Upbit, jumping from the 50 4-hour average volume of $60,000 to $217,000. On Binance, transaction volume increased by 44.86%, from an average of $609,000 to $882,000.
1inch (1INCH) showed a significant increase on its 1-hour chart on Upbit, with an increase of 241.51% from $113,000 to $385,000, with an average of 50 1-hour volumes. Trading volume on Binance increased slightly by 9.19%, from an average of $194,000 to $212,000.
Kyber Network Crystal (KNC) experienced a 180.10% increase in trading volume on Upbit on the 1-hour chart, with the 50 1-hour average volume rising from $48,000 to $134,000. However, trading volume on Binance decreased slightly by 5.92%, from an average of $49,000 to $46,000.
